Motherhood is more than just the magical moments

I was inspired to start this blog to keep it real. So much of what we see about motherhood is perfectly curated and aimed at capturing the gloriously magical moments. Just because motherhood is magic, doesn’t mean it doesn’t get REAL. It can be REAL messy, REAL repetitive, and REAL draining! So much of what we see teaches mothers that in order to appreciate motherhood, they have to deny that the REAL moments even exist.

Dishonesty is the ultimate act of self betrayal

I once read that to be dishonest about your feelings for the sake of society or because you are afraid that they will be rejected is the ultimate act of self betrayal. I want to inspire women to embrace the good, the bad, and the ugly. That’s what this blog will be about: Modern Millenial Motherhood. The good. The bad. The ugly. The real.
