I'm going to start off by saying I don't LOVE Prime Day. Amazon is typically a place that I shop for convenience and so if I'm being honest it's not necessarily the lowest priced item that gets the sale. I also don't have time to sift through thousands and thousands of pages, products, and reviews. This year, I developed a strategy to keep me out of the rabbit hole and get to the deals. I'm bringing you the BEST of the BEST from my perspective for Prime Day 2023. If you are like me, and you love a bargain but don't LOVE the process of going through deals, then I've got you covered. Because it's Amazon's signature sale event, some of the biggest discounts are on Amazon brands and products. If you are in the market for any of their branded products (Kindle, echo, etc) this is the time to buy. It's a great time to think ahead and grab a few gifts. This television is 50% off and perfect for areas were the climate and conditions aren't ideal. I decided to get this for my laundry room. I figure if I have to be trapped doing laundry for 5 humans, I might as well catch up on a few shows. Also, doing the laundry in the laundry room keeps the in progress baskets of clothes from migrating all over the house. This would also be great in a bathroom, garage, laundry room, patio, or playroom. Streaming televisions have really made it easy to have access to high quality entertainment from almost anywhere in the home.

Prime Day is a great day to buy those little luxury items that make home life easier. These items are not essential, so catching them on sale makes sense.

According to the reviews, this is what I need. I love that it is good for indoor and outdoor use. The main drawback is that many buyers said that the cord is short, so be sure to have an extension cord handy.
Another popular item to grab on Prime Day is a robot vacuum cleaner. I love a good vacuum (especially a robot). This years sale features an abundance of robot vacuum cleaner deals ranging in price from $99-$1200. What you need depends on the size of your space and the kinds of items that you need the vacuum to pick up. For a small space or apartment home without pets, a lower price point will be sufficient. I have three kids that generate massive crumbs and a dog that sheds short hair so I decided on a mid range product. This Shark Robot vacuum is at the perfect price point, has great reviews, works with virtual assistants, is designed for homes with pets, and self empties. It checks off all of my boxes. This deal is too good to pass up. This mini personal label maker is on my list because it is more than 50% off and so compact and cute! I have been on mission to organize my home and this is going to make my life so much easier. I also envision using it to label school supplies and other personal items for the kids this fall. These mist spray water bottles are essential for every home. Weather you are using it for hair, cleaning supples, to keep cool on a summer day, or watering plants, you can never have too many. I'm grabbing a few for the natural haired beauties in my home to put an end to dry hair. Great reviews and a great price make this a great item to buy during the sale.

Don't go to the beach without this sand proof beach blanket. I brought one recently and I will never go to the beach without it again. It's sand proof, so even when little wet sandy feet try to invade your space, it will not takeover the blanket. The sand wipes right off making it easier to have sand free areas for food, snacks, lying out, applying sunscreen, etc. This blanket is a game changer and it's a steal at this price. It comes in a couple of sizes but I definitely recommend the large. It folds down very small and will fit in any bag. It's definitely a beach essential. You will never take sand to the beach again!
Kids Entertainment
I can never resist buying something for the kids. Prime Day is a great time to think ahead about gifts and stocking stuffers. The countdown to Christmas definitely starts in July.
These writing tablets were the rage on social media a few months ago and guarantee hours of entertainment for children of ALL ages. I'm buying this pack of 2 LCD writing tablets to keep handy in the car for some back seat peace and quiet.
If these disappear around your house like they do at mine, order these. This pack of 3 certified apple chargers is a great value. The reviews are good, it's compatible with all the last Apple phones/ipads, and half the price of the Apple store. These will definitely make it from my cart to checkout.
My toddler is OBSESSED with smart watches. He loves to "play" with my Apple watch and his brother's Gizmo watch so I'm hoping that this will be a hit. Toddlers are unpredictable but at this price if he loves it great, if not, no big deal. It's designed for kids 3-12 but I honestly think I would save it for kids under 5. There are better smart watches available for older kids. I love that this Phyulls smart watch for kids doesn't have a call feature but supports camera and video content. It also has a clock, fun games, and plays music. The reviews are great and it comes in a several fun colors. Definitely grabbing this for my toddler. I'll report back on if he approves!
